Born in Malaysia, 1955-2007

Mohammad Din obtained his art education and graduated from Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, Singapore in 1976.

From 1978 till 2006, his works were featured in 20 solo exhibitions locally and overseas, such as “People And Landscape”, Singapore – Malaysia – Indonesia (1978); “Wishy and Washy ”(1980); “Memories of South East Asia”, Singapore – Penang – Klang – Jakarta –Surabaya – Bali – Padang – Nias (1983); “Mystical and Tailsmanic Energy” (1994); “Flora and Foliate” (1997); “Inspiration Mystique”, Paris, France (2000); “Paris Experiences” (2000); “Zikr – Hands on Calligraphy”, Malaysia (2000); “Towards Self-Unification”, Paris, France (2001); “Experience and Memories”, Turkey (2003); “Flowers and BMW Cars”, Hong Kong, China (2004); “Mystical Manoeuvre (post-humous)”, Malaysia (2007).

After he passed away, his family members opened a gallery, Galeri Mohammad Din Mohammad, Melaka, Malaysia to commemorate him (2008). At the same time, they held two exhibitions “Archives · Desires and A Tribute to Late Artist Mohammad Din Mohammad” (2008) and took part in collaborative and group exhibitions, Malaysia (2009); “Inaugural of the Opening of The Artists” (2009); Art Singapore (2010); “Our Pioneer Artists – APAD” (2013) and Publication of “Rethinking Mohd. Din Mohd.” cum Solo-show by National University of Singapore (2009 – 2010).

His works are widely collected by corporations and private collectors.
